It is with sadness that I write to you. The Music world has lost another soldier. Nick Ashford, died at the age of 70 due to throat cancer in New York. Many of you may know him as half of the duo Ashford and Simpson. They wrote some of the greatest songs under the Motown label. Ashford and his wife, Valerie Simpson were known for writing the hits "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," "You're All I Need to Get to Get By," "Solid," "I Found a Cure." The music is timeless. He is survived by His wife and his two daughters.
