Self Hatred and Black Gay Men: SOUND OFF Y'ALL!!!

Today, I haven't posted a picture for this entry because I really couldn't find anything, in my honest opinion, that would fit this topic. Today's topic is Self Hatred and the Black LGBT Community.
This entry stems from a post on Facebook that was a picture of some young men that appeared to be in their late teens to early twenties. They were dressed in what we call "cunt" clothes, meaning they were dressed feminine, yet stylish.  However, as I read the comments of course there was the normal "I don't mind fem dudes, but I won't date them,"  and "They look fabulous."  Some comments also encouraged the young men to express themselves.
However, one comment ticked me off royally, came from a misogynistic, self loathing, donkey's behind. He stated "I find this repulsive. They look ridiculous."  He even had the gall to state that like some of those "Sissies" as Donkey's Behind stated  From "Paris is Burning"  should act like men so they won't die of AIDS.  That comment made me even more pissed off and I had to sound off.
I wasn't the only one everyone on that commented on that post gave Donkey's Behind a great read and beat down because of his self loathing comments.  One comment that irritated my loins was that Donkey's Behind stated "if they had fathers in their lives, then they wouldn't have went down this road. No man would ever let his son be feminine."  That sounded as dumb as me drinking toilet water.
What is it with these self hating butt holes? I can state that although I had strong male figures in my life, I still am naturally feminine and my dad was in my life and taught me how to be a man.  I cut the grass, can keep up a car, and I have a steady job.  Donkey's behind also insinuated that a real man would not be feminine if he did those types of things.  I beg to differ. I didn't know that doing manual labor and having a job made you masculine. The last time I checked a real man takes responsibility and makes sure he has what he needs. A real man knows what he wants.
Here lately, I've seen a lot of gay bashing within the community just as with the presented scenario. I've seen Black LGBT men tear down other Black LGBT members because they are feminine, masculine, transgender, bottoms, tops, versatile, date outside the race, of different Socioeconomic status, or because they may have HIV. Where is the love? What boils my blood that instead of embracing the young, men in the picture Donkey's Behind degraded them as if they were the scum of the earth when in reality they are being more man that he is by daring to be themselves and not trying to live a lie.
It was clear that Donkey's Behind, clearly has a misconception of the heart of the Black LGBT Community. If it had not been for those feminine men, then we wouldn't really have Gay rights and other advancements in the LGBT community.  One thing I hate is that there is a dislike for those who aren't "Straight acting." What is straight suppose to act like and what is Gay suppose to act like?  It's just different mannerisms, that has nothing to do with sexuality. Also just because a man is feminine does not mean that equates him wanting to be a woman. He could just be feminine and have an eccentric taste.
When it comes to the word "Faggot,"  that means in the LGBT community, a messy gay person.  It does not mean the stereotypical Gay.  Just because you call a person a "sissy,"  does not make you better then them. It actually makes you look dumb, ignorant, and like the jack ass that you are.  It seems that within the Black LGBT division should be the last thing that should be is all this hatred. We're already been oppressed due to slavery, Jim Crowe, and Colorism.  When will we be able to unite and stop all the hatred not just within ourselves, but against each other.  Its said that these young men were looked at with such hatred from Donkey's Behind.  What are your thoughts and origins of self hatred? I understand religioin plays a big part, but what about those who are downlow and hate those who are openly gay? SOUND OFF FAMILY!!!

  1. Good for you! GREAT post, Lil Buddy! Thank you!

Jesus said you must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. What did He mean by that statement?

John 3:1-3......3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly , I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."(NKJV)

Jesus did not tell Nicodemus that he had to be born the first time in order to enter the kingdom of God. He said you must be born again!

Jesus did not tell Nicodemus that he had to exist in order to enter the kingdom of God. Every person alive, exists, how could that be a requirement to enter the kingdom of God? Jesus said he had to be born again.

Being born of water (amniotic fluid) by natural birth is being born the first time, it is not being born again.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. (NKJV)

Jesus said you must born of water and the Spirit to enter the kingdom of God. Remember in John 3:3 Jesus said "You must be born again." Water can mean nothing but water baptism (immersion). Water and the Spirit are both qualifications in order to be born again.

John 3:5 Jesus answered: I tell you for certain that before you can get into God's kingdom, you must be born not only by water, but by the Spirit. (Contemporary English Version)

John 3:5 Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition)

John 3:5 Jesus said, 'I tell you the truth. This new birth is by waterand by the Spirit. No person can enter God's kingdom if he has not been born that way. (Worldwide English New Testament)

    1. Hello,
I am a Christian who happens to be Gay and Born again. However, I have no interest in following your blog. However, I see that you are obviously gay since you read an LGBT Oriented Blog.
Love you with the Love of the Lord.
