Saturday Thoughts: I Stopped Pleasing Everybody

One thing that I've learned to stop doing since I came out in 2010 is to stop trying to please everybody. This means that some friendships may die and some family members may be pissed off. However, I don't care.  This is my life and I only get once to live and I'm going to live my life to the fullest.
I've stopped trying to help people who will not help themselves, even after you've taught them to help themselves.  It pisses me off when people always hold what they've done for you out of supposed "generosity," over your head. I thought God loved a cheerful giver, not and Indian giver and a spiteful giver.
I stopped pleasingn everbody and I started living for me.
These are my Saturday Thoughts,

Day 3 of Solitude: Friendships

During this time of me time. I've learned the value of friendships.  I realized that I am blessed to have the support of friends and loved ones that I have right now.  I'm thankful for the support of friends that have advised me and encouraged me to make the necessary changes for me as well as go for my dreams. I am blessed to have non-judgemental friends who seek nothing but the best for me and also correct me when I am wrong.
Thank you for being a friend.

Happy Veterans Day

Happy Veteran's Day To all who have served and are serving in all areas of defense for this Country and Worldwide.

In Day 2 of this Journey of refreshing, I'm learning that when all looks lost, there are blessings behind closed doors.  This week I'm having  a lot of challenges arise, however, I do believe that things are going to work out like they should. I refuse to stress and I refuse to lose faith and hope.
Even with trying to complete my first album and moved to the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia area), I realize that everything is going to work out in due time.  As I put my best foot forward and really seek the best and good in all things, I do speak and call forth every blessing and great thing that God has for me.  Whenever one door closes several windows of blessings open and God will rain the blessings out upon you.
Remember there are blessings behind closed doors.

7 Days of Solitude: A Fresh Journey

As I write this blog to you, I've found myself horribly distracted here lately.  The distractions include life, family, work, and my own crazy mind.  With so much going on sometimes it is hard to focus and it is hard to get peace of mind.
Here lately I have been struggling with topics to write in this blog. I've struggled for new things to talk about on youtube.  Is it possible that there is too much going on around me? I've gotten to the place to where I've declined invites to go out to write music and I've began ignoring phone calls to focus on me.
I think it is time again for me to steal away and refresh myself for a while.  Every now and then we need a refreshing in life. I am a firm believer in taking some time away.
For the next 7 days, I will be taking some time for me, however, you all will be taking that journey with me. I will still be blogging and posting.  WARNING: This may also invoke a change of routine for me and you as well.

Monogamy, Polyamory, Open Relationships: The Aftermath

Shortly after I did the post concerning monogamy, polyamory, and open relationships, I got attacked a Robert Ketterman on Google+. The above picture details our conversation.
It was funny to me because he's a bigot and a President Obama hater. As I read his profile I noticed the religious propaganda against the LGBTQIAP community. He also is against women's rights, equal rights with a hint of racism. The crazy part about the whole situation is that she attempted to deliver me from my sexual sins.
Obviously he did not know read the blog post but only saw the title. However I remained unbothered and I'm still un- bothered.  I'm okay with it. Why you may ask? I'm okay because by him constantly commenting on the post via Google Plus he just gave me free publicity and I want to tell him thank you for the free publicity and the free views.
It's funny how people say that same sex marriage ruins the sanctity of marriage but I question your third fourth fifth and …
