Destination DMV and Yannick Taylor

WOW So much is happening right now.  So Last Night, I debuted Yannick Taylorat a local talent show. My bestfriend and I decided earlier this week to do the talent. I felt that this would be a great vehicle to locally expose my community to the butch queen named, Yannick Taylor. I wanted to do something different, so I just went out and became my true self. I sang "Disco Inferno" the Tina Turner version.  It was a fabulous experience. Here is a picture of my stage presence below. I'm still working on Destination DMV. I'm currently job hunting and saving money still. Click on the widget above if you would like to contribute. It will be greatly appreciated.  Love ya, Yannick

Prayers of Oppression for LGBTQIAP Civil Rights

With the obvious possibility of Same-Sex Marriage becoming legalized in South Carolina, the Bigots of Christianity and other religious sects have truly shown their true colors.   This morning  as news spread to the televisions in my house, I heard a familiar voice from Dear Uncle say "If God stopped it in the Bible days, He'll Stop it again today." I quickly laughed and held my comments to myself.
I really wanted to say "God doesn't work out of hate. God is love. Read your Bible."
For Christians to be so much about love they sure spew a lot of hate. I must be a new breed of Christian. I believe in love and treating people accordingly.
It's crazy that they quote the Bible, but let's not forget their beloved King James was Gay.  How dare they pray for the oppression of others rights!!! The same Bible they use to bash the LGBTQIAP Community states in Proverbs 31:8-9 and Isaiah 1:17 that they are to stand for civil liberties not oppress others.  D…

Appeals Court Denies Stay in Ban Against Same-Sex Marriage in SC

Well Gay Marriage Is Hitting South Carolina. According to WYFF4.

The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled against South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson and denied his request for an emergency stay on a court ruling last week that ruled the state's ban on same-sex marriage was unconstitutional.

The appeals court ruling means same-sex marriages in South Carolina can proceed beginning on Thursday at noon, the deadline set by U.S. District Court Judge Richard Gergel last week when he tossed out the state's ban.

Here is Wilson's Rebuttal:

Wilson released a statement after the ruling saying the issue has not been resolved nationally.

"It is still likely the U.S. Supreme Court will address conflicting rulings between federal circuit courts of appeal. Therefore, today's ruling by the Fourth Circuit does not end the constitutional obligation of this Office to defend South Carolina law. We continue to believe the doctrine of federalism and the Tenth Amendment should…

Tuesday Thoughts: Happiness is a Journey

Day 7: Pressure Into Praise

Yesterday was Monday for sure.  Where as last Monday was an atypical Monday.  For starters, I had to take my precious car, Yara to get some work done due to an accident, however much to my chagrin, It threw me late to work and I was irritated because apparently my shady behind claims adjuster didn't book the rental as he had promised. Not to mention that, I had mailed somethings off to my lien holder last Tuesday and They still haven't gotten the documents yet!!!
I was just livid and irritated. Not to mention that my money is acting funny and my change is acting strange. However, I had to get a good grip on myself and turn my pressure into praise.  It hit me as I was sitting at my desk dealing with rude customers and peoples attitudes because they are too lazy to pay their own bills, "Turn Your Pressure Into Praise."I had to take a page from Paul and Silas. So in my spirit, I started singing the Lucinda Moore hit "Pressure Into Praise."
 How can you tur…

Make Money With Musique's Poetry

Don't Count My Pockets!!!!

One thing that I hate for people do think, is that they are entitled to the money that I make. Especially Family. That is a very, very large pet peeve with me. When someone counts your pockets,
that means that they look at your wardrobe, your car that you drive, and what you do during the weekend and the weekend and attempt to determine how much money you make and possess.
This has proven true with one of my relatives...the Dear Uncle.
Recently, I received my portion of a settlement and I made the stupid mistake of saying something to Dear Uncle about the settlement.  This man had the audacity to ask me for 99 percent of the settlement...I looked at him like he had lost his everlasting life. If looks could kill, trust he'd been dead, brought back to life, and killed again.
It's annoying whenever pay day arrives or I have to pay bills or I go shopping, that Dear Uncle always asks for money or always makes requests for what I've worked hard for.  Since, I am curre…
