Thinking on a Wednesday

I pray that this blog finds you in the best of health.  All is well with me. Just been one heck of a week. I've been working all week and making sure I have things in order for a new project that I have going on. You all will find out what's going on with it soon.  Well Happy Hump Day!!!

@Medino_Green "Run It"

Medino Green is the second oldest of four; two step-sisters and one brother. They weren’t rich, but they weren't poor either. Sharing a two-bedroom apartment with six people wasn’t easy. He remembers lunch being a large pot of Ramen Noodles and bologna sandwich for everybody or they’d go out to eat and have to share fries and a soda.  The saying “Sip, sip pass" really had a meaning for him!

As a youth, Medino always had a thing for music.  At the age of 13 Medino started getting into rap music, rearranging lyrics and making things up. In junior high school he made it known that he was into rapping and started reciting his rhymes to his friends. As a freshman in high school, Medino really started to "go hard" with his rapping. Rapping got him lots of attention from the bigger boys and the bad ass dudes who respected his spit-game. They took to him and he was on the in-crowd. Medino began cutting classes and hanging out and after school engaging in rap…

Starting Over: Musique's Poetry Shall Live

Many of you have noticed that some posts are missing from this blog.  The reason being is that since my 26th birthday was on March 15th, I felt like I needed a fresh start.  I've learned that there is nothing wrong with starting over.
  26 marks a new era for me, as does every birthday. I'm another year wiser, stronger, sexier, and better.  I'm learning the real nature of people and I'm beginning to see who and what I need to separate from.  I've learned that some people are out for all they can get out of you.  In this next season of my life, I'm expecting great things for this blog as well as The Bradley Show.  I'm not anxious, but yet preparing myself for the future.  However, I know that transitions are soon to follow me and I'm about to experience some major changes.  Well I guess that's it for now. Love ya,

Big Mama and Me

What is it about Grandma, or "Big Mama" as I call her? She has so much wisdom and so much love.  I love my grandma.  When I think of my grandma, I think of how for much of my life she practically raised me and took me to church.  I know that I have a praying grandmother.
  Music is in my life because of my grandmother. I remember as a child listening to Inez Andrews, Albertina Walker, Mahalia Jackson, The Soul Stirrers, Troy Ramey, Rev. James Cleveland, The Barrett Sisters, Mildred Clark.  I guess you can say I have an old soul.  My grandmother made sure that I was active in the church choirs and she encouraged me in all I do.
  My grandma is more than just my grandma; she's a mother, she's a teacher, a disciplinarian, a martyr, and a hero.  I love my grandmother. I love her home cooked meals, her stories of life.  I've even seen my grandmother shed a few tears, but the Queen is tough!!! I wouldn't have made it without God putting her in my life.  I love m…
